Windows 10: Win11: How to capture a scrolling window ie long screenshot to a single JPG file

I am running Win11. However I am using a legacy genealogy program circa year 2000 named "Family Tree Maker". It can generate a family-tree report which can be viewed on the screen or printed. Unfortunately the family-tree is too large to fit on a single screen. You need to scroll it to see the entire tree. Likewise when printed it spans multiple pages. I would like to send the family-tree report to a single JPG file which can then be shrunk and then be printed as a single page. Unfortunately the program does not have its own tool for generating JPG files. And doing a screen-shot is

By 'multi page' I presume you mean one where there are '1, 2, 3. >, >>' links at the top and/or bottom of the page to step to the next in a sequence of pages, such as search results, or long posts on this forum.





I know of no app to do that, but if you can set the number of result per page to the maximum, then Firefox has a screen capture built in that can capture any part up to the whole of the currently viewed page. Right-click on an empty part of the page and select 'Take a screenshot'...





...to get this. Click and drag to select, or select 'Save full page'.





Then you can copy to the Clipboard, or download as a .png image.

Text box appears over File Explorer while scrolling long lists

I agree with Hearsepilot So here's a pic of how to do what was suggested.

 

While scrolling down a very long list of files, the Scroll Bar will jump back at the beginning. Why?

I have tried all the remedies suggested, including uninstalling third-party Security software and substituting with Windows Defender.

Nothing has worked. Is Microsoft ever going to do something about this problem?
