Windows 10: WIndows 11 home to Windows 11 PRO Activation

Hi Team,I am trying to activate all the Windows 11 Home edition Devices/laptops to Windows 11 PRO using Windows PRO licensing keys, and again switching it back to Windows 11 Enterprise by connecting it to Entra ID from Windows 11 PRO. After successfully enrolling into Windows 11 Enterprise I rebooted and logged in as an administrator, when I go on to activation setting I found this error snapshot uploaded on the device. Can you please guide me why am i getting this error?Regards,Support

Windows 11 Home to Pro upgrade

Want to upgrade 11 Home to 11 Pro. Tried download, but apparently files transferred were for 11 Enterprise. This will not activate; error is "invalid digital license or product key". This is on a new Surface. How to proceed?

Can withdraw/delete this. The suggestion to downgrade - listed below - with a 'fake' windows 10 key works.

 

Windows 11 home to Windows 11 pro upgrade by product key - not active

HI,

I bought a product key for windows 11 pro, I did install it however i get error code an not able to activate -> 0x80072EE7.

Is there a way to resolve the issue? Tried to do the phone activation but it doesnt help. Windows suggest installing windows 11 home again (which I dont want since I bought windows 11 pro).

 

Windows 11 Home Activation

You can't use a Windows 10 Pro product key to activate Windows 11 Home. There is a free upgrade but that would mean installing Windows 10 Pro and activating and then upgrading to Windows 11 Pro.

Has the Windows 10 Pro licence key always been Windows 10 Pro or was it part of the free upgrade from Windows 7 or 8.
