Windows 10: Why is it Everytime Microsoft sends my live.com an email for recovery, I never receive the...

I updated my bios. Windows tells me my pin no longer works and needs reset. Then it asks me to enter the verification code sent to my live.com and I never receive an email from Microsoft with a code. Never. I've checked all my folders. Spam, trash, inbox etc. I've cleared my cache, I've cleared my cookies, I've cleared my history. I've always wanted a gaming PC but after spending THOUSANDS to get into it, it's made damn near impossible. I should have stuck with console. What a pain in the ****.

I have Windows 7 Premier

I use Windows Live email

I can no longer send emails nor can I respond to a received email.

HELP!

I did follow the Email server settings suggestions for Windows Live Mail

to no avail

Any or all suggestions on how to correct this will be most welcome.
