Windows 10: Cannot receive microsoft verification codes to my Hotmail email address

Hello, my microsoft account that my Windows 11 PC is connected to is also connected to a hotmail address. Any time I try to do almost anything inside of windows 11 which was forcibly upgraded to me from my perfectly functioning windows 10, by the way, it asks that I enter my pin okay no problem and then says that I must receive a verification to my email address. It says the code has been sent, but my email does not receive a code. It is not in my junk folder, nor deleted folder. It simply does not arrive at all.Here's the further problem, to actually talk to a microsoft agent to fix this,

• Where exactly do you get the prompt/notification to verify the email address?
  
• How are you trying to verify the email?
  

However, you can try using other options to request the verification code i.e. requesting the code over a call or as a text to your phone number and see if that helps in resolving the issue.

Cant receive verification code

I'm experiencing difficulties in receiving verification codes from Microsoft accounts. However, I am able to receive email updates by substituting the email address with another one. The problem lies in the fact that I am unable to receive any verification codes, and I do not have any alternative phone number or email address available to receive the code.

 

Someone Has Hacked My Hotmail Email Address...

Nobody (I repeat: nobody) can sign in to your Microsoft email account (hotmail.com, outlook.com, live.com, msn.com) if you set up two step verification.

Go to https://account.live.com, select Account & privacy, select More security settings, scroll down to Two-step verification and turn it on (tutorial).

Having two-step verification on, whenever I or anyone else tries to sign-in to my account from a non-trusted device, I or a possible unauthorized intruder will be asked to enter a security code which will be sent to my mobile phone. Without this code sign in will be declined. A non-trusted device is any PC or any browser I have not used to sign in before.

Because Microsoft offers this two-step verification, all unauthorized log ins are user's own fault because user has selected not to use two-step verification.
