    BSOD Code 116 & 141 - CPU replacement needed?

Thank you @ubuysa Great suggestion, and that's exactly what I did a couple days ago. The assistant gives a clean bill of health with all drivers up-to-date:

  3. LiveKernelEvent 141 and 193

My PC has been blackscreening a lot lately, regardless of what I’m doing on the computer (gaming, Chrome, nothing at all). All the monitors disconnect, and the RGBs on my mouse/keyboard turn off, but the RGBs on the GPU/power button stay on and the fans keep spinning. It seems like the computer becomes unable to power any peripherals. It also sometimes doesn't power on, and I have to unplug everything and replug it in a few times until it randomly works. So far I've tried reseating all the components, running sfc/scannow, updating drivers, completely uninstalling Nvidia driver with DDU in safe mode and reinstalling, and updating Windows. My next thought is trying a Windows repair, but I stumbled on a similar question with the same problem code/parameter as me where someone suggests it's a GPU problem: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...5-62643579e8e3 Here's my hardware error details from Reliability Monitor: Source Windows Summary Hardware error Date ‎1/‎11/‎2024 12:26 PM Status Not reported Description A problem with your hardware caused Windows to stop working correctly. After getting this crash, I was still able to hear YouTube, only my monitors seemed to be unpowered. Thank you for any help!

    LiveKernelEvent 141 + BlueScreen 116

    Hello,

I've been having reliability issues for a few months and have tried so many different things.

The issue is that the system will suddenly restart without warning. The computer may have been idle, or in use - no specific activity or task precedes the restart.

I get LiveKernalEvent 141 and also a BlueScreen 116 in the reliability monitor.

    I have tried:

    • Reinstall drivers
    • Reseat GPU and CPU
    • Repasted CPU
    • Place box on side to alleviate stress/sag on GPU
    • Installed a CPU cooler
    • Stress tested CPU and GPU
    • Disabled hardware acceleration on browsers and other apps
    • Reinstall windows (last thing I did)

I still get the restarts every now and then, usually once a day at random times.

The only action I can recall that preceded these random restarts, was upgrading my CPU about 6 months ago. It's been happening since then, so my guy instinct is that I may have damaged the MOBO even though a visual inspection it looks fine and I was careful.

Can anyone suggest a way to diagnose further and next steps before I replace the MOBO?

Minidump files are zipped here: Microsoft OneDrive

    Thank you in advance.
