Windows 10: Problems with the audio!!! output on the MSI Mag 275QF

I have a problem with my new MSI 275QF MAG monitor. I installed it and connected it, but immediately realized that the audio output was not giving a signal. After installing the newest drivers, executing commands in the system, or reconnecting the DP cable, I still haven't been able to solve the problem. Has anyone had the same error or a practical solution? Thanks.

I've tried every step that was suggested, still getting no audio output device installed.

Hi,

You will need to select Windows 8 from the drop down list while installing the driver in compatibility mode.

I would suggest you to try setting the speaker as default audio output by following the steps below and check if it helps.

1. Right click on the sound icon on the right bottom corner of the taskbar.

2. Select "playback devices".

3. If "speaker" is not set as the default device, highlight it and click "set as default".

5. Save the changes.

You may also try checking the sound settings if the default audio device is set to an HDMI output.

• Right-click the sound icon on the taskbar.
• Select Playback devices.
• Under the Playback tab, make sure you choose HDMI output as default audio device.
