Windows 10: IPad Usage With USB Connection

I realize that this is a Windows forum but maybe someone knows the answer to my question.I have an IPad and a USB Cable, connecting it to the USB Port on the Power Bar, is used to charge the battery overnight.However, if I wanted to 'preserve' the remaining battery strength at night, can I leave the IPad connected to the USB Port even though I am aware that it will now be a 'wired' connection, limiting mobility 'OR' should the USB Port only be used for charging the battery? I hope that my question is clear.

Apple has designed the iPad to only charge when connected to an approved wall receptacle charger or to a high-amperage USB port only found on Apple iMac and MacBook products. If you connect it to a PC or non-Apple USB port it will not charge.

I suggest you to contact the Ipad support for better assistance.

Unable to connect IPad to Windows 10 Laptop

Windows 10 won't recognize my iPad connected to USB
