Windows 10: Help Downloading Apps From A Non-Windows Store

Hello Anyone...I've been trying to download an app, Skool, from the Google Play Store. I've already taken my Windows 11 out of S Mode and also clicked on the Activation Page, and where it asks where to get your apps, I put: Anywhere, but ask me first before downloading. I'm just hitting a brick wall as I'm not technically oriented, but I can follow directions online. If there is something anyone can suggest that I haven't tried yet, I would appreciate your help.Thank you,Liz Nelson

Windows 10 Apps from the store wont download

• Do you face this issue only with these apps?
• Did you try downloading other apps?
• Did you try stopping these apps and then downloading it again?

We would suggest you to try the steps mentioned in the link

• Type troubleshooting in the search
  box and hit Enter.
• Click View all from the left pane and select Windows store apps.
• Follow the on-screen instructions and check.

If the steps don't work try these steps:

Try to reset the Windows store and check.

• Press Win + R on the keyboard to open run Window.
• Type wsreset.exe to reset the Windows store cache.

Unable to download apps from Windows Store

Do you face an issue with a particular\ all apps?

As you have issue with the store downloading apps, try to run these inbuilt troubleshooters.

We would suggest you to try the steps mentioned in the link

• Type troubleshooting in the search box and hit Enter.
• Click View all from the left pane and select Windows store apps.
• Follow the on-screen instructions and check.

and

Follow the same steps to use the Windows update troubleshooter.

Apps not downloading from Windows Store

I suggest you to perform Windows Store reset and check if it resolves the issue.

Reset Windows store

Follow the below steps to reset Windows Store

  Press Windows +R
  
• 
  Type Wsreset.exe and press
  Enter
