Windows 10: Error "Something happened and your PIN isn't available" everytime I start up my computer

When I boot up my laptop I get this error when I try to log in to it, "Something happened and your PIN isn't available. Click to set up your PIN again." Then I have to write in a confirmation code from Microsoft and after that I can set up a new pin that works during the period my laptop is turned on. Once I restart the laptop I have to set up a new pin again. This problem occurred when I installed a new SSD and reinstalled windows. When I try to control my Windows Hello Pin in settings it says "This option is currently unavailable" with no more information. I've tried accessing my NGC folder

Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

Hmm. Either it's put out errors and WCG is limiting the work units available, or the project list may not be set to supply other WU when one runs out. (if the problem lies here and not on your end)

On the options to your left, if you go into Results Status, select the computer from Device Name and then look through results see if either they were returned late, errors or any other kind of issue that would stop the servers supplying WU from that perspective.

If there are no errors then it's maybe down to your project list. So selecting Device Manager from the left menu and then clicking on the profile assigned to that computer and make sure that it's assigned to receive WU for other projects if they run out.

At least those steps will rule out problems from the WCG end.

 

I have the "Something Happened and Your Pin Isn't Available" error

I have the "Something Happened and Your Pin Isn't Available" error and when I use the password after using the Shift/Restart step, it continues to say my password is wrong even though I reset the account password. What password is the system looking for? This error started after I went into msconfig and mistakenly hit "disable all".
