    Blocked from updating to Windows 11 24H2 - Safeguard ID 56031903


    In the registry, it says I'm blocked due to Safeguard ID 56031903 with the reason "Other". I wasn't able to find any specific information about this safeguard ID. If this is due to an incompatible driver or software, I can look into updating or uninstalling it. Can someone point me in the right direction?

    Rechecking Safeguard Holds for Windows Update

    I am on Windows 10 had a Windows 11 safeguard hold for a piece of software that I no longer needed that was preventing me from upgrading, so I uninstalled the offending software. I still get the warning about the safeguard hold in Windows Update. Is there a way to re-check the safeguard holds to clear the block?
