    Hello,My system is running Windows 10 64-bit and there is an issue where after a random amount of time the system will freeze, the screen image no longer updating, but sound will continue to be heard for a period of time until the system restarts of its own volition.It is not a temperature issue, RAM issue, I have verified both.Event Viewer points me to a GPU issue, and the dump file shows the following:At the end of the file there's the following:andThe issue seems to have to do with the nvlddmkm.sys file of the NVIDIA driver, and I have attempted extending TDR timeout, however, the problem p

    Computer freezing frequently at random intervals

    I'm using windows 10 in my hp Probook 4540s.

    My Computer freezes frequently at random intervals of 2 or 3 seconds. If I turn on the PC from first window itself it is behaving like this.

    I'm facing this issue for the first time. Why it is happening like this?
    What I need to do to solve this issue.

    Random freezes or shut downs

    Completely random freezing/shutdowns on a system with no recent hardware changes, and hard drive, memory, and PSU fine, usually means a software issue (file corruption or malicious software). I suggest following DavidV's recommendations.
