Windows 10: Jack Mic doesnt work and says " Not plugged in " tho IT IS plugged in

Hey, I tried to plug in my headphones and on my other computer IT WORKS PERFECTLY FINE tho on this notebook nope.. i got the lil thingy where u plug in the Sound and Mic jack and here the sound works perfectly fine but the mic is just not working.

Hey, I recently upgraded to windows 10 before that I had win 8.1 and the mic worked perfectly with no problems then after upgrading to win 10 my mic stopped working, even tho its plugged in. When I go to Sound and my Microphones, it doesnt detect my microphone,
but the headphones work perfectly, i tried to follow other steps, they didnt work, i tried both jack holes (front and back) but neither of them worked, but when i tried the front one, it said Currently not available, but still nothing, i hope someone can help
me solve my problem, thanks.

 

Jack mic saying "not plugged it'

Jack mic says not plugged in when it is. For some reason my computer isnt detecting any Jack mic input for some reason. This happened to me before and I fixed it by doing a restore point, but I cant do a restore point for this situation because I forgot to
create one my own before this happened. Now I really dont know what to do. It was working before today but not now, also I have a zoom meeting tomorrow which doesnt help. Can someone help me?

 

Headphone Jack not working when I plug in mic.

I have a headset with a mic that I plug into a splitter the splitter has a headphone and mic jack that are plugged into their own specific slots. They have been working fine for the past 6 months, up until as of this morning. Where only one of them function
at a time. When I plug in the headphone port it works fine until I plug in the mic where I will get a notification that something has been unplugged from the headphone jack even though both jacks are plugged in. If I plug in the mic first and then the headphones
I get the same unplugged audio jack notification except for the mic which then proceeds to not work. Please help I have online class today and I need the microphone and headphones working at the same time.
