Windows 10: Microsoft 10 Update May 2025

I received the following message when I logged into my computer: “ Your PIN is no longer available due to a change to the security settings on this device. click to set up your PIN again.” After entering my Microsoft password and verification of my identity I received the following message: “Something went wrong - We weren’t able to set up your PIN. You can try this again, or skip and set up a PIN later.” If I retry, I get the same message. If I skip, I get back to the “Your PIN is no longer available…” message again. So I’m stuck in a loop. When I use the shift/restart step to open to trouble

Microsoft signals end of Paint program

Microsoft has confirmed that it will continue to offer its graphics program Paint.

In a recent update, it had listed Paint as a feature that would be either removed or no longer developed.

Paint, renowned for its simplicity, has been part of the Windows operating system since its launch in 1985.

Microsoft suggested it would not remain on Windows 10 by default but did say it would be available for free on the Windows Store.

it would've been great if microsoft added HEVC decoders, LAV filters along with other codecs with Windows 10, and developing WMP to be better than VLC, KMPlayer and such sorts of media players.

Nevertheless, this is good step for microsoft, by far.
