Windows 10: I can't change an app from using my dedicated graphics on my laptop.

I have a laptop, acer, with a ryzen 3500u, and a radeon 540x, 16gb ram, ssd. I am on Windows11I can't seem to be able to change a game from using my dedicated gpu to use my integrated graphics. This game runs better on integrated graphics. One day it started using my dedicated card for no apparent reason, and i wasn't able to change which gpu it runs on since then. I tried from the display settings - graphics - power saving. But it doesn't work. In Radeon Graphics settings i can't change it either.

Regarding Dedicated graphics

Sir please clear my confusion

• There is a program called DXDIAG when i open it and click on display it shows graphic memory 2136 mb but when i open intel graphic properties it shows dedicated video memory 128 mb so where all the left memory used.
• Is updating driver really helpful especially graphic drivers.
• How to increase dedicated memory from 128 to 512 because mylaptop contain 4 gb ram.
• When i enter BIOS i do not locate configuration tab what to do,help me to provide the advance bios mode

 

Laptops with a dedicated graphics card

A friend of mine has just bought a laptop with Windows 10 and a dedicated graphics card. I am attaching a few screenshots below so that I can ask you a few questions.1. In PCs a dedicated graphics card is a totally separate piece of hardware, but what about laptops with a dedicated graphics card? Is there a separate chip altogether?2. In the two screenshots, which show a window titled "DirectX Diagnostic Tool", I see something called "Shared Memory: 4017 MB". I know this laptop has 8 GB DDR4 RAM. In my understanding 8 GB means 8192 MB. So why the shared memory is shown as 4017 MB only? Is this shared memory not system memory itself?3. One screenshot also shows "Display memory (VRAM): 2996 MB". Is this the memory of that dedicated graphics card/chip? If divided by 1024 MB it works out to about 2.92 GB.4. I need someone to explain to me as to how one can work out memory math when it comes to a laptop with a dedicated graphics card.Thanks.
