Windows 10: My computer won’t turn on after I punched it. Yes, I know that was very dumb.

My computer started to get really slow and when I would play a game like Minecraft, the screen would freeze and I could not turn off my laptop unless I held the power button and restated it. This happened a few times before I got mad and slammed my fist hard on the keyboard. My laptop immediately shut down. I tried turning it on, the light that displays when my computer is on shows, then after about 3-4 seconds turns off. The battery works, I have checked the motherboard, wires, and any loose connections or broken objects. Nothing. Just wondering if there is anything that I may have missed or

• Check and verify if Cortana is activated?
• Does Cortana search and gives any output/result on screen?
• Is the Language and region settings set to valid value?
• Check and verify if Cortana available in your region?

Method 1:

I suggest you to try to turn Cortana off and then try turning it on back and check if she talks. Refer to the steps below to turn Off and On Cortana:

• Open Cortana.
• Click the hamburger button in the top left of the window.
• Go to Settings and click on off.
• Follow the same steps to turn it on.
• Check if issue persists.
