    After installing Visual Studio Code cannot get access to Internet


    I’ve encountered a strange issue on my Windows PC where all network access drops as soon as I launch Visual Studio. Here’s what happens:Symptom:As soon as Visual Studio Code starts, web browsers Edge, Chrome, Firefox fail to load any pages.All other Internet-dependent applications e.g., Whiteboard, Adobe Apps, Outlook, Mail, 3rd Party Apps, etc. also lose connectivity.As soon as I close VS Code, network access is immediately restored.Troubleshooting So Far:No VPN or custom proxy is in use.Windows Firewall settings are at their defaults. I use NPAV antivirus.I’ve rebooted, repaired the Visu

    Follow the steps on this line to prepare your system and for installing Visual Studio

    Please Note, choose the Community Edition, it is totally free and full Featured

    You do not need to worry about Visual C++ Redistributables those have nothing to do with coding in C or C++ at all

    When visual Studio finishes installing you will see a screen asking you how you would like to set up Visual Studio, choose C/C++ Programming and the initial Setup will do the rest for you to get the IDE ready for C/C++ Programming
