Windows 10: Taskbar ISSUE. Open Letter to Mr. Nadella and a Question

Congratulations on your groundbreaking innovation: removing the ability to move the taskbar to the left side of the screen. Truly revolutionary stuff... To say it is annoying, is such a severe understatement.. You dorks made your product worse and if you don’t fix it, I am switching to Linux. Well okay, maybe I am not. But I would if I could. Unfortunately, you have a stranglehold on this and just about every other organization. Letter to Satya Nadella no response in 2016

I decided to post a copy of a letter I sent to Satya Nadella in 2016 that received no reply from him or any staff member. It seems that loyal customers and fans don't even deserve a courteous reply to a letter? Actual name and address has been removed, but

Dear Mr. Nadella,

I am writing directly to you as I am displeased with the fact that I own a Nokia Lumia 1020 with the most fantastic 41 mega pixel Pure View Zeiss camera and it is not going to be eligible for the Windows 10 upgrade.



Why am I disheartened? Because the Microsoft Store was offering $150.00 discount on your Lumia 950XL as a Memorial Day special I suppose. Also there was an offer to trade in my Lumia 1020 for $150.00. So I would end up paying $349.00 for the 950XL
with half the camera?



I don’t think this is a very good deal. I paid AT&T $598.00 for the Lumia 1020. The amazing camera in the Lumia 1020 was used by Stephen Alvarez with National Geographic and photos appeared in the 125th
Anniversary Photography Edition.



So my Lumia 1020 is stuck in Windows 8.1 and believe you should have a better offer for me to move to your also amazing Lumia 950XL. How about $250.00 off the price and $250.00 trade in offers?



I was also burned because I bought the Nokia 2520 tablet for $499.00 from AT&T and it was stuck in Windows 8.1 also. I simply just sent that back for recycling and took the loss.



I have been a dedicated and loyal Microsoft Windows user for decades. I love Windows 10 in my Dell laptop.



Is there anything you can do for me?

Dear Mr. Nadella - Please don't kill Windows Phone

Dear Mr. Nadella,

I read numerous reports today that Microsoft is stepping away from Windows Phone. I am posting today to ask that you reconsider this foolish move and rededicate Microsoft to the mobile market.

Microsoft has a long history of stumbling in new product categories, but it has repeatedly ignored the naysayers and went on to overcome and eventually dominate those markets. It didn't do that by quitting.

Everyone knows that the smartphone has become the dominant Internet device. Google and Apple are aggressively seeking to leverage their market dominance in mobile to overwhelm and crush the Windows ecosystem.

Are you going to let them win?
