Windows 10: Data Encryption Windows 11 Home

Hi.I would like to ask about "Data Encryption" under Windows Security settings.I didn't notice Data Encryption option was there on Windows Security until i enable Intel Total Memory Encryption TME.The Data Encryption option is automatically present on the Windows Security settings and enabled.However, if i disable the TME, this option is disappear from Windows Security.Why's this feature depends on Total Memory Encryption that its main purpose is to encrypt the RAM?Thanks.

Encrypting a folder

Hello Bill,

To encrypt a folder in Windows 10 Home, follow these steps:

• Right-click the folder you want to encrypt and click Properties.
• On the General tab, click Advanced.
• Under Compress or Encrypt attributes, click Encrypt contents to secure data.
• Click OK then Apply to save the changes.
