Windows 10: xiaomi pad 5 tablet connecting to phone link doesn't show the apps option

my xiaomi poco x6 phone is connecting just fine and all the features are available. i was hoping to use my pdf annotating app from my tablet to my laptop so i can study in one place-my laptop w a bigger screen :all my devices r up to date. hp victus 15 is my laptop.

I bought a xiaomi laptop 14 pro 2021, its running on windows 10. I need to know how can I connect it to Xiaomi pad 6 pro.

Xiaomi Ecosystem Issues. Trouble connecting my mi pad 6 to Xiaomi laptop running windows 10. I mean like a ecosystem. I have tried link to windows but that only works with the phone. The phone and pad works great together. So the only possible way is pad to phone and then to laptop but you know thats not convenient.

Unfortunately, the were of no help.



The phone isn`t listed in device manager, the list of devices doesn`t change if I have my phone connected to my computer(s). There are no mystery devices, no yellow triangle -markings or anything even remotely pointing to the direction the phone being connected.

It could be that my phone has a broken usb port, but it makes me wonder that it still charges the battery when connected to a computer.



This is not a big problem for me, that I must admit, but still, it kinda bugs me that the phone doesn`t work the way it`s supposed to work,



Anyways, if somebody comes up with something that might help, I am most grateful.

edit: Also, I have my laptop almost always connected to charger. Tried without charger just for the heck of it, didn`t help.

 

Windows 10 phone link seems to be causing popup spam

I have connected the phone via USB. I have never installed any phone syncing software, xiaomi software, etc. When i get the popup spam, i can see the phone link process in the task manager, killing it does not prevent further popup spam however. Device manager only shows a warning triangle for something called "WD SES Device USB Device". I think thats related to my external WD HDD. Ive restarted after disabling phone link for background apps, lets see if it makes a difference... I am almost 100% sure it is related to phone link. If i repair or reset the app, i get the popup spamm shortly afterwards.
