Windows 10: Cannot install Citrix Workspace on Win 11

Hi! I have bought a new laptop ASUS Vivobook 16 Flip TP3607SA-OLED035X with Win 11. I cannot install Citrix Workspace and it says .NET Core 8.0 or later need to be installed first. So I am trying to install the ASP.NET Core Runtime 8.0.16 Shared Framework but I am unable to complete the installation. Any suggestions how to fix this? Thank you in advance

How to permanently hide Windows 11 Citrix Workspace app notifications

To permanently disable Citrix Workspace app notifications on Windows 11, you can follow these steps:

1. Open the Settings app by pressing Windows key + I.

2. Click on "System".

3. Select "Notifications" from the left-hand menu.

4. Scroll down to the "Notifications from apps and other senders" section.

5. Locate "Citrix Workspace" in the list of apps and click on it.

6. Toggle the switch next to "Show notification banners" to the OFF position.

This will disable all notifications from Citrix Workspace app, including the taskbar notifications that you mentioned.

This worked:

Installation und Deinstallation | Citrix Workspace-App für Windows

Try CitrixWorkspaceApp.exe /uninstall via command line. This worked fine for me. After that i could install it successfully.

I suspect that your situation is due to your failure to complete the normal installation or other applications causing the installation to fail, so that the program cannot run correctly. I suggest that you try to use the

command as written in the Citrix manufacturer's development documentation to clean up all remaining traces of the previous uninstallation, such as files and registry values, and then install the new version of the Citrix Workspace application.
