Windows 10: kb5058383: Server 2016 Keeps getting stuck at 64-65%

Hello,I am doing updates for my servers. They are running Windows Server 2016. However kb5058383 keeps getting stuck at 64-65%. I have done the sfc /scannow and SDISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and also deleted the folder, restarted and still it keeps getting stuck. Any solutions/suggestions on how to proceed?

Windows Server 2016 Upgrade

When updating from windows server 2012 R2 to server 2016, I'm not getting the step by step procedures where you can select keep file and apps and other steps. I just get the setup screen, which after couple of minutes it display a window to select what type of windows server you want to install.

Once selected it does a full install of windows server 2016, which re-images the C drive. Afterwards you have to re-install all your applications.

Any suggestions on why it doesn't go through the step by step procedures.

Stuck at 64% after reset.

We want to know more information regarding this issue so that we can find out what causes your update to get stuck at 64%. Please provide us the following information:

• Even after resetting, does it still get stuck at 64%?
• What other troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
• How are you upgrading your operating system?

Strollin: I understand your suggestion, but that means I'll have to re-install all my sofftware etc. again. This is not an enticing thought at all.

LCDR: I tried the old activation code I used before - it is the same on you posted.

I tried the steps listed at the WinAero site. Last one failed because it said the server could not be located. But I did get the Jan 20, 2016 date back. So that's something.
