Hi, this issue is driving me crazy,I have two portable HDD connected to my Windows 11 laptop, Windows is freshly installed recentlyi add shared both HDDs in my wifi network, and turn on my media streaming optionon my LG TV, I can see both drives in my media server, all the video files displayed properlyafter play one video perfectly, try to play 2nd one, it stop working, it kept buffering, then TV is saying cannot play the file, try play another one. then when I move to other folders, all the video files previously shown, all goneI restart the laptop, everything back normal, but after play on

MKV video wont play on LG TV

Have a video that wont play on an LG TV, believed it was the DTS audio, but having converted to ZC3 it still wont play. converted to MP4 and still no luck, although it plays through my XBOX have media info, anything obvious ???

 

I can't get a video to stream to my lg smart tv in full screen , it's playing full screen on the pc no problem

To assist you better, I like to know; how exactly you are trying to stream video from your PC to LG Smart TV?

As an initial step, I suggest you to try updating the display adapter on your system.

Follow the below steps:

• Click on the Start button, and type Device Manager on the search bar.
• Open Device Manager, expand Display Adapters.
• Find and double-click Display Adapters from the left panel to update.
• Right-click the device, and click Update.

As you are able to play the video full screen in your PC, then it might be an issue related to LG Smart TV. I suggest you to check for the LG Smart TV manual and check what all settings need to done to play video in full screen.

MKV video wont play on LG TV

This is just for informational purposes really using a WORKAROUND. I have a 3TB HDD that I used to put all my films and series on, and like those posts above, on occasions I would get the Video or Audio format is NOT supported. I then had to download another to see if that worked, and so on. This could be very time consuming and annoying. In the end, I used an old Chromecast which I had and I plugged into the back of the TV via using the HDMI port. I now just Cast from my Computer, and upto now, it has worked 100%, regardless of the Video or Audio format. My TV is NOT Wi-Fi enabled by the way and I use VLC as my Media Player. I hope this helps.
