Windows 10: How do I get the drive to show when reformatting!

I have a lenova laptop.It got that stupid bitlocker screen.I found the recovery key and put in but it wouldn't go past the bitlocker screen.I then read about going to additional options or whatever on the bitlocker screen to factory reset it but then it would say it couldn't go further and would cancel out.I read some stuff that this might mean the drive was messed up.So then I did that diskpart thing or whatever and it showed my drive with 238 gb or that is what i assume was my drive.I did the clear all command and then bitlocker was gone and when I had windows 11 loaded up on a usb it would

reformat external hard drive that is not showing up in Windows

I have a Sonnics external hard drive that I wish to reformat, but it isn't showing up in File Explorer. It shows up in file explorer, I have tried the steps of deleting the drivers and rebooting, but it doesn't work.

Is there a way i can reformat the drive without it appearing in file explorer or disk management

I did what you said and then was told to remove the CD from the CD-Rom Drive, put in the recovery CD and then press the 'OK' button to continue

So I changed to the next disk but the OK doesn't appear to be being 'pressed'. Yes I have pushed enter on the keyboard which is what I have been using to get me through the other steps..

Any suggestions?
