• Since when are you facing the above issue? Did you make any recent changes to the computer?
• Did you try booting the computer in Safe mode and check if the issue persists?

It seemed to be working well for a while however subsequently had another crash with the blue screen 3b code.

I had carried out a memory test yesterday which reported "Hardware problems were detected. To identify and repair these problems, you will need to contact the computer manufacturer." Does this perhaps point towards faulty RAM or hardware otherwise?

 

SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (3b)

Hi,

I am taking a class where we need to use the instructor provided VM image. However, when I tried to power on the virtual machine from VMWare Workstation, my PC show went to BSOD blue screen. I did some Google search and learned to find the error code which is 0x3b, and I also tried WinDbg but I couldnt understand what the minidump was saying. Can someone please help me look at this please? Thanks a lot!
