Windows 10: Windows 11 Sharing Files Between PCs

Hi, I'm trying to share files between 2 Windows 11 pcs. I've looked at several YouTube videos on how to share files. I have the password protected sharing on both pcs turned off. But I always get the message to enter network credentials on both pcs. When I enter my username or email address and password I get the message that my username or password is incorrect.Can anyone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?Thanks,Paul

• Have you made any changes on your PC?
• Did you perform any Windows update recently?
• Are you connected to Domain network?

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if that helps.

Windows 11 File Sharing BROKEN

Hi All,

Really at my whits end with this one!

• I have a micro PC which is operating as my file & print server. This is a Windows 11 Pro machine. File & Print Sharing is really basic and is just using Windows built in tools.
  
• I have set (within Network & Sharing Centre)
  
  • The Network to private
    
  • Turned ON File Sharing
    
  • Turned ON Public File Sharing
    
  • Turned OFF Password Protected Sharing
    
  • Told Windows to allow guests to utilise the 'Everyone' account
    
  • Given 'Everyone' full permissions to my shares
    
  • All PCs are on the same Workgroup
    

Originally this was working perfectly.

The Problem:

Since this afternoon, other Windows devices cannot access the shares (was working fine this morning) due to 'Cannot access, enter credentials'. However, our mac devices can access them no problem at all without entering credentials.

To our knowledge, no devices were restarted during the day.

So what has gone wrong & how do I fix it?
