Windows 10: Start up

Whenever starting my pc The pc will turn on lights and fans but no screens will show anything no startup screen no lock screen nothing. If i then hold the power button and try again it boots up and starts in safe mode. What are things i can do to fix this where even if i put it in sleep mode it able to wake back up because atm i have to do the same process as if i shut down the pc and turned it on same effect.

I would suggest you to try the following steps:

• 
  Click Start icon and click Settings
  
• 
  Choose Personalization, click on Start
  
• 
  Turn on “Use start full screen”

Windows 10 Start menu is empty

Hi. Steps 1 and 2 didn't do much but step 3 has restored what looks like the list of original Microsoft apps but no sign of any of the many apps I have installed. And there are no tiles in the start menu. Any suggestions please?
