Windows 10: i have no way to access wifi on my PC and tried multiple ways to fix it and none work what...

I recently uninstalled my network adapters to fix my PC because thats what i usually have to do when my wifi isn’t working and restart, however this time it shows as “Other devices” and i have no wifi option on my pc. I have tried updating the drivers and it dosnt work, i have tried alot of methods and none seem to work and im also unable to factory reset, can someone please help since without wifi my PC is practically useless to me.

Well known issue with G92 cards.

You'll need to bake it (yes, as in putting it in the oven.) Do some google searches, there's plenty of threads out there detailing the process needed to fix the issue.

 

Easy way to access wifi settings in Windows 11?

Hello!

My parents are going on a trip next week and will be taking their laptop. Usually when we go on vacation, I'm with them, and I take care of said laptop, including connecting it to wifi when needed. They are not tech savvy and definitely not used to Windows 11 yet. I know where the wifi settings are, but I'm wondering what the easiest way for them to access the settings so they can connect to wifi where they're staying (yes I know the settings are in the taskbar; they do not). I'm not sure what kind of connection they'll encounter as they've never been to this resort. It's part of our timeshare and all that's listed is "wifi internet access" (most of our resorts have that listed).

Is there a way to pin the wifi settings to the desktop? Any help would be greatly appreciated asap. Thank you!
