Windows 10 21H1 with AirPod Max does not work

I am currently trying to get the AirPod Maxs connected properly to my Windows 10 work machine. I got it to connect crystal clear audio to the head phones through Robert's AirPods Max Stereo. The audio sounded amazing and almost 1:1 from what I was used to. However, I wanted to enable my mic for Discord calls to a friend, and started messing with stuff, now NOTHING works.

This is what I bought to enable Bluetooth connectivity.

    There's currently two listed devices.

Headset: Robert's AirPods Max Hands-Free AG Audio (Sounds like complete **** on both the mic and earphones)

Headphones: Robert's AirPods Max Stereo (These sound the best when they work)

I tried forcing it to look for a better driver, but nothing has worked.

audio output low on airpods 3 after windows 11 update. how to fix?

    Dear Windows Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing to seek further assistance regarding a persistent audio issue I've been experiencing with my AirPods Gen 3 since updating my laptop to Windows 11.

Despite exhaustive troubleshooting efforts, including running the audio troubleshooter, disconnecting and reconnecting the AirPods, restarting both my laptop and the AirPods themselves, and verifying the functionality of the AirPods on other devices (both Samsung and Apple phones), the problem persists.

To provide more context, the low audio output issue seems to be exclusive to my AirPods when connected to my Windows 11 laptop. Other Bluetooth devices function normally with adequate volume levels. This suggests that the issue lies specifically with the compatibility between my AirPods and the Windows 11 operating system.

I have tried various solutions suggested online, including the following:

    Method 1: Check Audio Enhancements

    1. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
    2. Type mmsys.cpl and click OK.
    3. Under the Playback tab, double-click on the sound device you are using.
    4. Click on the enhancements tab.
    5. Toggle the checkbox for Loudness Equalization.
    6. Click OK.
Additionally, I have checked individual app volume levels using the "OpenVolumeMixer" option from the speaker icon on the Taskbar, ensuring that the volume sliders are all the way up for the apps in use.

However, none of these measures have yielded a resolution to the problem.

Given the unique nature of this issue and the extensive troubleshooting already undertaken, I am reaching out to your team for further guidance and support in resolving this matter. Any additional insights or troubleshooting steps you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

For reference, I have an HP Elitebook x360 1030 and applied Airpods Gen3, the AirPods were giving perfectly fine audio output before the update.

Thank you for your attention to this issue, and I look forward to your prompt assistance in finding a solution.
