Windows 10: Toolbars on the Taskbar

Microsoft... PLEASE bring Toolbars on the Taskbar back to Windows 11!!What an incredible productivity loss. You've caused me to have to open Windows Explorer for so many things that I access multiple times per day. That adds 2 - 5 clicks per access, depending on what I'm doing, compared to what I had to do with Toolbars in Windows 10. Please, please, please. All this clicking is not only time-consuming and unhealthy repetitive motion injury, but now I have all of these Explorer windows that have to be dismissed.Not thrilled with Windows 11. :-

I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with the taskbar & toolbar.

Kindly follow the steps below

First: Disable “Show Badges” option

Right click on the taskbar.

Then select Taskbar Settings.

Go to Taskbar Behaviors.

Uncheck the option for "Show badges on the taskbar."

Then turn on autohide.

Then,

Restart Windows Explorer:

Go to Task Manager

Locate Windows Explorer in the list, right-click it, and select Restart.

Toolbars missing from Taskbar in Windows 10 v1803

However here is a solution:

Remove the Language Toolbar from the Taskbar by unticking (unchecking) it in the list of Toolbars. It will then float and will not show up in your Toolbars list or on the Taskbar.

Logoffs, Restarts and full Shutdown/Poweroff/Startup will all retain the Toolbars as set.
