Windows 10: I want to transfer a world from Minecraft: Education Edition to Bedrock or Java Edition

On Bedrock, my world always fails to import

If you have bought Minecraft before, you’re now getting the other edition for free. Woot! Follow these steps to redeem it:

Go to the Microsoft Store listing for Minecraft: Java & Bedrock for PC.

Sign-in to the Microsoft Store with your Microsoft account.

Once you’re signed in, instead of a “Buy” button you should see a button that says “Get.” Click this button – and now you own both editions!

HOW DO I RUN OR PLAY EITHER VERSION OF MINECRAFT?

Once you’ve completed the steps above, including logging into the Microsoft Store, you can now download the Minecraft Launcher.

To play Minecraft: Java Edition, download and install the correct launcher for your operating system. Sign into the Launcher using your Microsoft account, and you will be able to run Java Edition.

I have bought minecraft java and bedrock edition, but i don't see where is the bedrock edition

Both the games are integrated inside one launcher now.

Please use this launcher : https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/store/minecraf...

In the launcher both the bedrock edition and java edition are listed and they will be available on the left hand side.

There is the bedrock edition too just under the java edition.

"Minecraft for windows" in the left hand side. Click on it and it will open the bedrock edition.
