Windows 10: Why does my PC tell me I need to upgrade to a newer version of Windows 11, but when I check...

I keep getting a notification every day on the task bar that says "Your version of Windows 11 has reached the end of service. Click to download a newer version of Windows 11 to stay supported." I currently have version 21H2 on my PC. I go into settings and click "check for updates" and it says "You're up to date." Then underneath of that, it says "You're device is missing important security updates, make sure to keep your device on and plugged in so updates can complete."I keep checking for updates, but it says it's up to date, but I know there is a newer version of Windows 11. Compatibility Mode may be the culprit.

Compatibility View tells websites that you're running an earlier version of Internet Explorer.



From IE> Tools (or Alt + t) Compatibility View Settings, verify that the site is not in the list and uncheck 'Use Microsoft compatibility lists.

Upgrading to windows 11

I have a few questions about windows 11...

1. How many GB it is? when my pc suggested the upgrade yesterday, it said it's about 4GB just want to be sure.
   
2. I'm using a windows 10 pro so if I upgrade, will it upgrade to a windows 11 pro?
   

 

Internet Explorer 11 versions

I have 2 pcs just recently upgraded to Windows 10 home. Both were previously Windows 7 Home Premium SP1:

One pc has Internet Explorer 11 version 11.494.10586.0 upgraded 7/11/2016

The other has Inter Explorer 11 version 11.0.10240.17022 upgraded 7/13/2016

My Avast Anti Virus Software updater shows that I have the older version, and wants to upgrade to what it shows as the newest version of 11.306.10586.0 and but my Windows 10 will not let this upgrade proceed.

So 1 pc upgraded to Windows 10 and has a newer version of IE11, while the second pc which was upgraded 2 days later still has the older version of IE11 and even tho it is checkmarked to auto install new versions it won't>? The check for updates in the second
pc shows no updates available, and one cannot find an update for IE11 by itself.

Any suggestions?
