  2. Reboot and Select Proper Boot Device...after reboot?

What is the boot order in bios ?

is the hdd the first boot device? disable all other boot option for 2,3,4 boot device, Boot from "other device" also set to disable.
Is the bios resetting ,possible the battery needs changing

Every month or so my motherboard boot order changed for no reason at all only the boot options , then have to go and set the primary hdd again

manufactures do recommend putting the boot Hdd on sata port 1

    Possible bios Update?

  3. Reboot and Select Proper Boot Device...after reboot?

Boot HDD is definitely set to first device and bios is updated. :/

EDIT: We just installed a brand new SSD. So, if this one craps out it has to be something to do with the board. I can only assume that anyway...

  4. What do I do with scam “Do not reboot or use your device. This device is disabled.

Disable audio device on ATI Radeon 4850 (Asus EAH4850)

Thanks for the suggestion! But sadly this doesn't work.

I already tried that and I still get the odd crash. I'm pretty sure it's because of the underlying IRQ conflict.

Back in the good old days you used to be able to disable VGA IRQs in the BIOS, no such setting any more.

If ATI/AMD just gave you the option to turn HDMI off the problem would go away *Frown What do I do with scam “Do not reboot or use your device. This device is disabled. :(
