Windows 10: How to fix black screen with cursor on boot.

Whenever I boot up my system, the system appears to start normally, and the display turns on, but only a black screen is displayed. The cursor appears and works, and I can confirm resetting the graphics drivers using CTRL WIN SHIFT B works, but I’m not sure what is happening. This started after I tried to log in to my computer after sleep, but is just stopped during the transition between the lock screen and the login screen, where it’s just the blurred background. After waiting a short bit, I decided to force shutdown the computer as nothing I do on the keyboard seemed to work It gets stuck

I have tried following the steps of booting into safe mode, going into the control panel and uninstalling the latest windows update that caused the 'Windows black screen with cursor' error. However, now it wont even boot to the desktop, it will show 'Automatic repairs being done' and then automatically booting to safe mode. Upon checking my BIOS, the SSD drive with windows installed with it, is not even showing up in the boot list/priority. (still able to see drive in bios under System status and when checking under windows installation time.)

Sign in screen is always visible on boot up (standard boot or safe mode). Safe mode scrolls (visible). All previous problems and attempted fixes happen (black screen with cursor) after signing in with password.
