    Error when starting Windows 10 VM in Hyper-V after initial creation of the VM


    Hello All! I'm new to Hyper-V so I apologize if this is something obvious or easy. I've created VM's on Linux machines and using VirtualBox in the past on different computers than the one I'm using now, but I wanted to attempt to use Microsoft's product on my main Desktop this time. Unfortunately, I have been having issues with Hyper-V and have been beating my head against my computer for the past 3 days so it's time to reach out for help. I am able to open Hyper-V Manager and create a VM without obvious errors or issues, but after it's created when I try to start the VM for the first time,

    Unable to Import a Hyper-V VM

    I built a VM using

    Hyper-V Manager: 10.0.26200.5001

    Mangement Consol 3.0

    Version 24H2 (OS Build 26200.5001)

    I am unable to import it onto another system with:

    Hyper-V Manager: 10.0.22621.1

    Management Console 3.0

    Version 23H2 (OS Build 22635.3566)

    When I navigate to the folder with the VM, it show no VMs available.

    Is there a way to import the VM built using the newer Hyper-V manager version into the older Hyper-V manager? If not, how do I update the Hyper-V Manager to the same version as the version of Hyper-V Manager that I built the VMs with?

    No Internet in Hyper-V VM's

    Hi, I have Windows 10 Enterprise and just added Hyper-V. I had 3 VM's on VMware Player and deleted and uninstalled Player. I have 3 Vm's on Hyper-V. My problem is I get no Internet on my Vm's. I am new to Hyper-V and would like to know how to connect these
    to the internet. I have "Virtual switch (automatic)" selected. They show no connections available in the VM's. How do I connect to the internet? (I'm on wifi.) I'm attaching a screenshot. Thanks

    Cannot copy and paste into Hyper-V VM

    I cannot copy and paste anything into a Hyper-V Window 10 Pro VM. Not text. Not files.

    I have made sure that the Guest Services was checking in the VM settings and that Use enhanced session mode is check in Hyper-V Settings.
