Windows 10: Snipping Tool, about 50% of the time, fails to record and save Zoom lectures that I attend...

I have a Windows 11 PC Microsoft Surface Book 3.I use the Snipping Tool to record lectures on Zoom well, I try to record the lectures.About half the time, everything works perfectly: 2 and 3-hour lectures are recorded and saved in their entirety.The other half of the time, Snipping Tool stops working with no sign or warning to me before the lecture is over. I only find this out after trying to play the recording following the lecture.Today, unfortunately, Snipping Tool saved only 1 second of a 3-hour lecture! Everything seemed to be running normally. The tool displayed the recording time

I did some more troubleshooting this morning and it is a bug with the W11 display scaling factor when saving JPGs from Snipping Tool. My scaling factor is set on 300% (I have an 80" 4k TV). GIF and PNG take screenshots as expected at this scaling factor, but JPGs are now zoomed in. If you change the scaling factor to 100%, JPG snips save as expected. As you change the scaling factor higher than 100%, the more "zoomed in" the JPG saved snips get.

Hope they find/fix this bug quickly as it's very annoying. Not sure how to report it to Microsoft directly.

I'm having the same issue after the latest windows update ran automatically.
When I copy the snipped image to clipboard and paste it elsewhere it is also zoomed and cropped.
I searched around the forums and another user has the same issue posted here as well
