Windows 10: how to change administrator from a permanently suspended account to a new microsoft account

So when my main microsoft account was hacked and fully taken over, i had to contact microsft. and they said due to security reasons they had to take all my info and suspend the account. but this account is connected through my entire computers systems, anytime i want to sign into certian things, it asks for my passwords. But because the hacker changed my paswords and the account is suspended I cannot do many things on my computer. So what can I do to change the admistrative accounts on the computer, so that old account is no longer throughout my computer and a new account is there to replace i

Change Microsoft Account Details in Administrator Account

It's quite easy in fact, simply switch the account in question first to a local account, then switch back to a Microsoft account, this time using your wife's MS account credentials.

Notice that before doing this you need to remove the new additional MS account on the PC, the one you created with her credentials. Windows allows only one user account for each email address, if the new account exists you cannot switch the original administrator account to an MS account using the same email address. Unable to change my account type to Administrator and cant create a new account.

Hi Aadil,

I suggest you to activate Default Administrator and try creating a new Account with Administrative privileges. Try the below steps and check if you can create a new Account.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Command prompt(Admin).
  
• 
  Type the following command and hit
  Enter:
  

net user administrator /active:yes



Now, sign out from the current account and you will be able to see a new Administrator account. Sign in to the new Administrator Account and you may create
a new user account with administrative privileges. You can also change the current local user account to Administrator Account. Follow the below steps to change the current local user account to Administrator Account.

  Begin by right-clicking the
  Start Icon of Windows, then click Control Panel.

  Then under User Accounts and Family Safety, click
  Change Account Type.
  
• 
  Then choose the account you wish to change, and double-click it.
  
• 
  Then click on Change Account Type.

  Then choose the Account Type you want the user to be, you can choose between Standard and Administrator.

  Click on Change Account Type.
  

After creating the new user account or changing the current account to Administrator Account, use the following command at the command prompt (as mentioned above) to disable the default administrator account:



net user administrator /active:no

Should my Microsoft Account have administrator privileges?

I just finished reinstalling Windows 10 (Creator version) and decided to have the installation process create a Microsoft Account instead of bypassing that step like I have on other laptops in the past and creating a local account later. After the install I went to Accounts in the settings and saw that the Microsoft Account was listed as an Administrator. I always thought the main user should only have standard privs for security purposes. Thoughts? Should I create a new admin account and try and change the MSA to a standard account?
