Windows 10: Why are my folder icons, all blank white sheets?

    Why are my folder icons, all blank white sheets?


    Like everywhere. When i make a new folder, they are still white blank sheets. I tried to change it, but the current icon is available in the settings list, but there is no change, if i choose it. Also i already cleared the "icon-cache". Doesnt fix itI dont know any further. I saw a veeeery scetchy fix, with a batch data, which i could hide afterwards, but i dont trust the process

    How to make a Uber Hidden Folder

    • Make a new folder.
    • Change the icon to a blank icon. No icon should appear
    • Rename the folder to a blank by pressing "alt + 255." (NOTE: Press 255 on the numpad) No text should appear.
    • Your done! It is uber hidden. *Big Grin Why are my folder icons, all blank white sheets? :D

    On Windows 10, .zip Default Icon icon does not work so shows merely a white-blank paper sheet icon

    Although .zip file association is set by CP (control panel) sucessfully to a pro application, but .zip Default Icon icon just shows merely a white-blank paper sheet icon, is it Windows 10 peculiarity ?

    How to solve it ?

    Help me to to fix it.. thanks in advance.
