    I'm unable to connect my old HP LaserJet 1018 printer to my new Windows 11 computer.


    I recently bought a new HP Pavilion Laptop running Windows 11. I would like to continue to use my old HP Laser Jet 1018 printer with it. The printer is connected to the laptop via a USB cable since it's not Bluetooth capable. When I look in Settings>Related Settings>More devices and printer settings, I can see other "printers" like Microsoft Print to pdf, but my old printer is shown as "UNSPECIFED" >Hewlett-Packard HP LaserJet 1018. I have tried downloading the most up-to-date driver from the HP website, but, though it downloads, it doesn't seem to finish installing. Am I out of

    Unable to find HP laser jet 1018 printer driver

    I am trying to install my HP laserjet 1018 printer on my Windows 10, version 1809 I attempted the following method after connecting printer over USB,

    Click add printer > the printer that I want isn't listed>Add a local printer or network printer with manual setting>IN Use an existing port USB001( virtual printer port for USB) was selected > clicked on windows update button > then in manufacture column selected
    HP, but in printer column I am unable to find Laserjet 1018 printer driver on repeatedly updating driver by clicking windows update

    But on performing the same method on my old laptop with an older version of Win 10, I was able to install this driver.
