Windows 10: Why is my desktop not loading past the ROG screen to windows?

Had issues with booting my computer to windows past the Republic of Gamers loading screen and took it to a repair store. They said it was a graphics card issue, and upon swapping graphics cards, it proceeded to boot normally while in the store.However, when I got home to boot it up, it still froze at the ROG loading screen before it could go to windows. I tried shutting it down and restarting in safe mode, which worked. Tried rebooting again normally, didn't work. I've just tried reseting my desktop while keeping my files, but during the reinstall action of windows, the computer had to restart

How do I make explorer.exe load my desktop quicker past login screen?  

I've found some partial fixes for this, which all helped somewhat.

• Uninstall the Samsung Android Smartphone USB Drivers, because they do not pass the Memory Integrity feature of Windows
• Turn on Memory Integrity in Windows Security
• Uninstall all software made by Wondershare (including PDFElement or PDF Reader), especially Wondershare Dr Fone which is the biggest performance drain of them all. This cut down 2-3 minutes of loading time and made the desktop icons load instantly, leaving just the start menu remaining as an issue. Once Dr Fone is uninstalled, it will leave behind traces, such as 2 services which have the word Wondershare in them. You will need to use Autoruns to delete them.
• Uninstall Zune media player and drivers I got from an archived backup
• Another fix which helps with UWP/Metro/Fluent apps which has 3 tasks to complete, stated here This step cut down 3-6 minutes loading time to 60-90 seconds.

Further Reading By the way, I've used Mireku Installer Monitor in order to monitor exactly what changes different software makes on my computer, to then detect any traces left behind after uninstalling and any unwanted or strange system modifications of Windows. Here is what those logs found for Wondershare Dr Fone. My opinion is that the software developers and programming on this software is very shoddy. In fact so shoddy, that when I tried to install the latest version, it would run a program called KillSwitch halfway through that would restart my computer. I had to abort this restart by having certain software already open which would prompt me if I want to save changes on any unsaved files I was working on, to then disable this restart to then have the installation process finish. Friends computer freezing at windows loading screen

Ok my friend is having problems with his computer right now. Basically it crashed on the windows loading screen. This is what he told me on MSN.

Now i'm not too sure what the problem is. I suggested doing a repair install with the xp disk (i'll be giving him that tomorrow) but in the mean time do any of you have any ideas?

 

PC won't boot after Windows loading screen!

An Automatic Repair or Startup Repair can help you resolve your concern. This tool is used when you cannot boot your Windows properly. To run Startup Repair, you can go through
Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Restart now (Under
Advanced start-up). However, since you cannot enter your Desktop, we suggest you to force fail your computer. To do so, kindly follow the steps below:

• Boot your computer.
• While on the logo screen, do a force shutdown by pressing the Start button.
• Wait until you see "Preparing Automatic Repair" appears. If it doesn't appear, repeat the steps until it do so.
• After the loading screen, you will have a black screen and another loading screen will appear.

By then, it will now diagnose your computer and will do an Automatic Repair.
