    Okay so, before I describe my issue, here are some of my computer's specifications:MANUFACTURER - LenovoMODEL - Yoga 7i 16", 8PROCESSOR - 13th Gen IntelR CoreTM i5-1335U 1.30 GHz INSTALLED RAM - 8.00 GB 7.73 GB useable SYSTEM TYPE - 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor WINDOWS EDITION - Windows 11WINDOWS VERSION - 24H2 Okay so, my issue is, my computer laptop all of a sudden, out of NOWHERE, spams the number 1 in text fields it will end up looking like [11111111111111111111111111111111111111111111...] and it will keep going until I press the 1 key again.     Laptop spamming the Q key

    Hi so i have this issue on my laptop where the Q key doesnt work and whenever i press w e r u i o p and delete key the computer spams the q key it also just happens randomly, this issue has been going on for about 3 days and is geqtting annoying. i have tried running full virus scans cause that seemed like it helped others with similar issues the laptop is a lenovo yoga series 7. sorry for the barebone explaination but the issue is ongoing while writing this

    I my laptop keeps spamming the r key

    About a month ago, my laptop's 'r' key stopped working randomly. I tried to fix it by removing the key, but I couldn't put it back in place. After that, the 'r' key started working and then stopped functioning again. Finally, it stopped working altogether. Today, the key is spamming 'r' when I press the 't' key and also randomly types 'r' when I am typing or moving the cursor to a text box. Please help me I need to do my work.

    Keyboard spamming keys randomly

    My keyboard randomly spams keys at completely random times, and sometimes restarting my PC doesn't work till it just wears off. After a little digging, I found that I had the same problem as the person in this post;

    Reinstalling drivers didn't work either and I decided to only follow method 2 after reading the replies, the solution works, but a different problem arises,

    After completing method 2, I had the same problem as HamzahAhmed2 whereas my Ctrl, Windows, and Alt key no longer work.

    The method I followed;
    [
    Method 2
    1. Press the Windows + Q keys and type CMD;
    2. Right-click on Run as Administrator;
    3. Paste the commands below:

    REG DELETE "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout" /V "ScanCode map" /F
    REG DELETE "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer" /v "NoWinKeys" /F

    Now do the keys work correctly? If not, do the procedure below:

    1. Press the Windows + Q keys, type and click on Notepad;
    2. Paste the values ​​below into the notebook:

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout]
