  1. Family Safety and bypassing restrictions

I set up Family Safety when my 13 year old son got his new school laptop. I set up restrictions and was able to monitor his usage. Then a few weeks ago, my app started saying "no data available" for the last 7 days at least even though he was with me, playing Roblox which I had previously blocked - it's for school after all. Can you please help me understand what I need to update/change/alter/add/check so I can ensure I can monitor his usage? Before I added him to my Family Safety, he spent 9 hours on one day playing Fornite so I need to be able to manage his obsession and he doesn't live he

    :)

    roblox malware bypasses family safety?

2 of my sons (ages 12 & 10) have family accounts and non-administrator sign-ins on our windows 10 PC's at home. Lately I've been having major issues with their time restrictions and with the usage reporting. I believe I've traced it to some sord of "robux"
(?) malware that has the ability to circumvent/bypass family safety restrictions. Has anyone else experienced this type of issue?

    Symptoms:

    1. reporting for child usage grossly overstated on one or more computers
    2. Even revoking all access doesn't prevent the child from continuing with his session or from logging in again.

I'd like to discuss this with someone at MS as well, if they are listening in. I've only been able to detect and remove the malware with malwarebytes. Defender seems powerless in this regard.

Family Safety doesn't work on power saver

I tried everything you suggested, but nothing worked. I think the problem is that power saver restricts running Family Safety and other apps from running in the background. I can manually enable an app in the Settings, but there's no such app like Family
    Safety in the list.

Windows 10 Family safety - child can disable all feature, why?

    Hi,

There may be a sync issue with the restrictions that has been applied to the child account. To isolate your concern regarding Family Safety, we recommend that you follow these steps:

    • Remove the Child account on the Family Safety website.
    • Change the passwords of your account.
    • Add the Child account again.
    • Add the restrictions to the Child account again.

Keep us updated with the results if your child will still be able to turn off the Family Safety feature after performing the steps above.
