Windows 10: I typed correct password in lock screen sign-in option but password is incorrect said it.

But i tried command Prompt in advanced options it opens window where said, "Choose a account to continue." I selected account then asked password for this account and typed my password that setup initially and opened X: drive command prompt. But this password is working on advanced options so why this has not been worked. What glitches cause password is incorrect and ui issues ?Product: Window 10

• On the right panel select Sign-in options > Under Password you'll see the option to add password.
• Follow the on-screen instructions.

Incorrect Password with correct password!

Did you try typing it in notepad then copying it over?

I think, in your situation, I would change the router password and propagate the change. I do passwords in all capitals and numbers now, eliminating characters like O because it looks too similar to 0. It cut down on the password reentry attempts dramatically. They're still 32 characters long though, so still extremely secure.
