Windows 10: Previously Purchased App Asking to Repurchase – AirReceiver

Hi, I purchased the AirReceiver app on my Microsoft account years ago when I had an Xbox. I’ve since been using it on my PC without issues. Recently, it started asking me to pay for it again, even though I can still see it in my purchase history. Can you help me restore access without having to pay twice?

Purchased Apps

Hopefully, you've re-registered the phone using the same Microsoft ID (email account) you used previously. If so, the easiest way is to 'repurchase' the apps again from the Store.

When you tap 'Buy' on a previously owned app, the db attached to the MS Account will recognize that fact and will ask if you want to re-install. Tap 'yes' and away you go! No need to repurchase.

I changed my email from L: *** Email address is removed for privacy *** to

I didn't create a new email but changed the name via the option through outlook.com

I reset my phone so could setup with the new address and as i'm going through the reinstalling my apps, a paid for xbox live game is asking that I purchase it!

I've seen on a few sites before I changed that people were able to reinstall without having to repurchase



updated: solved previously had reinstaller installed, download this logged into my windowsphone account and reinstalled my apps - you don't need reinstaller can do this via the web, go to windowsphone.com, login, account and you'll see your account purchase
history.

Try the below methods and check:

Method 1: I would suggest you to run the inbuilt app troubleshooter.

Follow the steps:

• 
  Press “Windows” + “X” and select Control Panel.
  
• 
  Select Troubleshooting and select View all on left hand side of the screen.
  
• 
  Select the App and follow the instruction to troubleshoot.
  

Method 2: I suggest you to follow the steps below to reset the Windows store:

• 
  Press the “Win Logo” + “R”
  
• 
  Type: WSReset.exe and press “Enter”.
  
• 
  Restart the computer and check.
