Windows 10: How to fix windows start menu which isn't opening and settings app crashing after windows...

Yesterday i was installing drivers and windows updates and where the driver was asking for restart and I restarted my laptop where the cumulative update was still downloading and after restart everything was normal and then I waited for update to download and install then again restarted then after that restart on the lock screen wallpaper was windows default blue one but i had another one so I ignore then and it rebooted as normal no issues then I used it as usual for 20 mins and when ir came to shut down my start menu couldn't open I used the win key the mouse and on screen keyboard the sear

Feature suggestions - move to proper menus, add Options window

Suggestions:
1) Remove main menus from top left menu (system menu) and move them to a standard Windows menu, at the top.
Leave the 6 system menu items (Restore --- Close) in system menu, move all the rest to that standard main menu. The main menu can be auto-hidable - pressing Alt key to invoke it or hide it, similar to the way IE11 menus and many Windows 10 built-in apps' menus work.

2) And/or, add an Options menu or button, which would invoke a separate screen with GPU-Z Options, similar to how most Windows apps work.
Most Windows apps have a separate Options screen, which GPU-Z lacks - one should be added.

Can I customize the list of suggest apps in the "Open with" menu?

You can't use it to add additional programs, only to set default programs.

Interestingly for me it shows nothing for text files:








Then if I want to add a portable app like Jarte Plus to open with context menu windows doesn't like it.





It's not present and is near impossible to add even via "look for an app on this PC"
