Windows 10: new Windows 11 machine, 2nd account login issue

I did the setup on a new Windows 11 machine. The initial user Microsoft account works fine; I created a PIN and can use it to log in to the machine.I then added a 2nd user Microsoft account. When I attempt to log in with it, there is no option to enter a password or PIN. The prompt states "We'll send a code to [the user account email address] to sign you in." I click the "send code" box; a new box appears in which to enter the code. However, no such email ever arrives I checked the spam folder. So there is no way for the 2nd account to ever log in. Surely this has happened to someone

I suggest you to Enable
the built in Administrator account in Windows 10, and then try to create new user account and check if it helps.

I suggest you to refer the steps below and check if it helps

• 
  Press Windows+ X, select
  Command Prompt, and then click Run as Administrator.
  
• 
  When you are prompted by User Account Control, click Continue.
  
• 
  At the command prompt, type net user administrator /active: yes, and then press Enter.
  
• 
  Type net user administrator
  <Password>, and then press Enter.
  
  Note In this command, <Password> represents the actual password that you want to set for the administrator account.
  
• 
  Type exit, and then press Enter.
  
• 
  Log off the current user account. And login and check whether your able to login to windows or not.

Can't login to new computer w/Windows 10

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.

my kid is unable to login to her machine with newly created child account

I setup my child's new windows machine yesterday (created a brand new email to use for her login along the way). Now, when she tries to login:

• It prompts for a password (entering correct password)
  
• Prompts to get a guardian to sign-in and approve. - At this point, when I select as guardian and try to login, it errors out as below:
  

I followed the steps suggested in this thread to fix this issue. However, I don't see an option to skip asking guardian's permission instead, I have to choose to select guardian.
