Windows 10: Windows 11 Not Activated After 24H2 Upgrade Through WSUS

I am testing out the WSUS upgrade 'Windows 11, version 25H2 x64 2025-05B' after the previous version not working at all xxx 04B and this one does actually upgrade the PCs which are on 23H2. After being upgraded they lose their activation status and have to be manually reactivated using the same key Education MAK they were originally installed with.

WSUS and Windows 11

We want to test Windows 11 in our environment.

Therefore we have added the 'Windows 11' product to our WSUS.

Now we have a few workstations that on first sight are compatible with Windows 11 (memory, diskspace, TPM2.0, ...) but they are listed in WSUS as 'not applicable' for the Windows 11 upgrade.

How can we find out what is preventing this upgrade?

The PC Health Check-app doesn't work on domain clients.

There are no currently listed problems resetting version 24H2 of Windows 11 and no specific steps you need to perform, are you experiencing any problems with that insider build that is causing you to perform a Windows reset?

 

Windows 11 WSUS: Win 11 Updates detected as not needed by Win 11 client in WSUS

I am testing to update Windows 11 from WSUS server. Currently we have 3 units of test client, however, there is 2 issues related to the testing.

1. Windows 11 detected as Win 10 in WSUS.
   
2. Windows 11 updates detected as not needed/not applicable by the clients.
   

I already ticked all the Windows 11 updates options but still the issues still persist. All of the test PC was freshly installed with Win 11 and haven't updated yet. Appreciate the helps from the community. Thank you.
