Windows 10: Laptop shuts down on it's own when the charger cable isn't plugged in

Hi, I'm having troubles with my laptop which is a Lenovo ideapad flex 5-1470 A 2-in-1 laptop. Whenever I'm using it without a charger, it will shut itself down without warning after approximately 4 minutes of being on even though it says the energy amount is 94%. However I do not have this problem when I keep the charger cable plugged in, though it will always say it's at 94%.I've had this laptop for over 10 years and it was only around yesterday I noticed this problem. I'm worried this may be a sign of its age, but I want to know if there's any way to fix this problem.

Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

 

Laptop thinks charger is plugged in, even when it isn't

I recently bought a used ThinkPad X200, and replaced the battery with a third party one because the original was dead. Now the laptop seems to think that the charger is always plugged in, even when it isn't. I'm not sure what exactly I can do here, Google searches only turn up "plugged in, not charging" results.

I understand the previous solution worked only temporarily and the issue remains the same so as to the next step in solving this issue I would suggest you follow the below.

Step 1:

Go to search box next to windows icon and type Device Manager

Step 2:

Click to open Device Manager

Step 3:

Click Batteries on the list to expand it and you should see two items: Microsoft AC Adapter and Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery.

Step 4:

Right-click on each item and choose the Uninstall device. Yes, you are uninstalling your laptop's battery drivers, but don't worry because they will automatically be reinstalled when you restart your laptop.

Step 5:

Shut down your laptop.

Step 6:

Unplug the power cable from your laptop.

If your laptop has a removable battery, remove it. If no removable battery skip this step.

Step 7:

Put the battery back in if you removed it.

Step 8:

Plug in your laptop.

Step 9:

Power on your laptop.
