Windows 10: When I am uninstalling SQL Server Management Studio, I am getting error 2503 and 2502

When I am uninstalling SQL Server Management Studio, I am getting error 2503 and 2502. Screenshot enclosed.

I've just ran into the same problem (error 2503, 2502, etc.)

My computer was first installed over a year ago and I've been installing all the Insider builds, as well as a ton of tools like Visual Studio, Xamarin, SQL Server, multiple versions of Java (bah!), and quite a lot more applications, including some weird
ones.

I decided to uninstall quite a few and try to improve my computer's performance a bit, still, most show one or more of these errors while attempting to uninstall.

My decision was to do a clean install on my computer.

If you get these errors and they apply to multiple programs, that probably means something's seriously broken. It probably takes less time to reinstall everything, and at least you know the problem will be solved, not mended with scotch
tape.

Still, if you want to just uninstall a specific program and are ok with these errors, you can try this:

UPDATE: I had an Insider build (14955) with lots of problems and I upgrader to an (apparently) stabler version (14959), and these errors magically went away, and I was able to uninstall a bunch of programs
via Programs and Features.

 

Installation internal errors 2503 and 2502

On Windows XP Pro SP2, when I try to install *anything* I get internal error 2503, click ok to acknowledge, immediately get internal error 2502, click ok, and machine aborts the installation.

I can't find anybody who knows how to fix this problem.

HELP with errors 2503 and 2502 in Windows 10

Im getting errors 2503 and 2502 whenever I try to install or uninstall something. I have Windows 10 and I've tried nearly all the solutions available online. Please give me suggestions :s
