    The original Step Recorder could capture up to 999 screenshots effortlessly—triggered by each click—and automatically compile them into a lightweight, easy-to-reference HTML document. While it sometimes recorded redundant clicks e.g., accidental or repetitive ones, that was a manageable trade-off.In contrast, Microsoft’s current alternative, the Snipping Tool, requires at least two clicks per screenshot and introduces a delay of several milliseconds to seconds to save each image.     What are the fields output by Steps Recorder?

    Problem Step Recorder does not have such documentation but it is very clear, it takes snapshot and list down user's steps as it being captured by PSR.

    Microsoft Steps recorder is limited to
    Windows 7     and Windows Server 2008 R2. You are facing the above issue due to incompatibility of the program with Windows 10.



    Use Steps recorder by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.



    • Press Windows logo key on the keyboard and type
      Steps recorder      .
    • Select the top most search result and check if you are able to use the programs.
