Windows 11 intall, no option to delete partition.

Hello,I'm currently performing or rather, trying to perform a clean reinstall of windows 11 on a laptop using an USB stick. I have downloaded the MediaCreationTool.exe and put it on the USB, put that USB in the laptop I'm trying to reinstall windows 11 on. I have followed the steps until the "Select location to install Windows 11" screen. The only buttons activated here are "Refresh" and "Load driver", even when I click on a partition. There is only 1 partition listed: "Disk 0 Partition 1: ESD-USB". There is a warning below that "Windows 11 can't be installed on disk 0 partition 1. Show det

Help with deleting a Windows 7 partition.

    Hey,

So recently my boot decided to have the option between "Windows 7" and "Windows 7" on startup... The first one gives me an error, the second is my actual Windows 7 install.

I need to know which to delete on this list, so that i don't have to watch my boot... haha.

    This is it:

  3. recovery partition deleted by mistake

Hi! Good day , Jerry here, an independent advisor. Here to help you.

To merge the unallocated partition to your C drive you may follow this steps below.

Step 1. Open Disk Management in Windows 11

Step 2. Locate the two partitions you want to merge, and then delete one partition. For example, to combine C drive and D drive, you have to delete D drive. Right-click on D partition and select “Delete Volume”.

Step 3. Next, right-click on the system partition and select the "Extend Volume" option.

Step 4. Follow the Extend Volume Wizard and accept the default options to merge two partitions in Windows 11.

If you have any additional questions please don't hesitate to ask.

    Delete my W10 Partition

Do you want to safely delete your Windows 10 partition and use only Windows 7?

If Yes, then boot to your Windows 7, run msconfig, go to "Boot" tab, you will see something like this :

Choose "Windows 7" and click "Set as default", then choose "Windows 10" and click "Delete", restart if asked or necessary.
Now the boot information for Windows 10 has been deleted and you can safely delete your Windows 10 partition (make sure no important files are on the Win10 partition). To delete and extend your partition you can use many partition manager tools.
